Irish Shepherds Rosary- New Listing- Robert's Heirloom Rosaries

Irish Shepherds Rosary, Heirloom Quality, The kind of rosary the Shepherds of Ireland would have used along the western cost of Ireland where the salt sea water was in the air.

This rosary is made with a number of significant pieces. The Aves are 8 by 10 MM Reddish Golden Natural Sheep Horn. The Pater Nosters are 100 percent natural Connemara Marble direct from the mines in Ireland. The connector beads and rest of the rosary is made of solid Bronze.

Along the Atlantic seaboard, on the west coast of Ireland, there are 12 mountains that are steeped in myth and which have inspired writers and poets for centuries. At the heart of the "Twelve Bens" in Connemara, County Galway, nestle marble quarries that mine the unique green stone known as Connemara marble.

The rosary center is the triple shamrock representing the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, the traditional symbol of St. Patrick. The beautiful Celtic Crucifix adds the final touches to this wonderful sacramental. The rosary center and Crucifix are antique museum pieces that have been recast. For more photos and info click here.

Robert's Heirloom Rosaries- New list- Rosary Of Our Lady Of Grace!

Rosary Of Our Lady Of Grace, Heirloom Quality

This rosary is made with a number of significant pieces. The Aves are 8 MM and made of 100% Natural Sodolite - which are an absolutely beautiful color of Blue. The Pater Nosters are a beautiful Hand Painted Floral in 12 MM. The entire rosary is made of solid bronze.
The rosary center is a Double Sided Lily that matches perfectly with the floral theme and the just gorgeous crucifix. This is the first time I have used this beautiful crucifix. The connectors are Swavorski Crystal and blend so well with the over all look of this sacramental.

This is considered an “unbreakable rosary.” -as each bead is individually wire wrapped and should never come apart. However- dropping it on a hard surface may crack the beads. You should always take great care of this sacramental.

Here I will feature new sacramentals that will soon be listed on EBAY. Get a peek preview of new chaplets and devotional items. For additional Photos and info click here.

A Rosary for those with a special devotion to Saint Francis of Assisi--

Rosey Poppy Jasper, with its mahogany tones, pairs with warm bronze in this traditional sized Rosary.
The Crucifix is the replica of the one in the chapel of San Damiano, where Francis prayed. It was a broken down chapel, and while in prayer, the blessed Saint heard the Lord say, 'Francis, repair my Church, which you can see is in ruin.'  At first, Francis thought he was to repair the run down chapel--but he soon realized our Lord had greater things in mind--the reformation of Holy Mother Church herself!
This Rosary is guaranteed unbreakable because of its wire wrapping, and will make an ideal pocket Rosary for daily use.

St Anne Purse Fob Rosary at Laude Arts and Gifts

One thing is for sure...this isn't your grandmother's rosary. Yes, it has all 59 beads - 6 Paters and 53 Avés. Yes, it has 5 full decades, a pendant, a crucifix and a medal...but traditional is one thing it is not.

The idea for this rosary came about because I got tired for digging in the bottom of my purse for my rosary and wished there was some way for it to be handy. It is my latest design. It consists of 5 strands of 10 beads each also known as decades and one strand consisting of 5 beads, a crucifix and a medal traditionally known as the pendant. The beads in each of the decades are the Avé beads. The antiqued brass cross charms at the end of each decade serve as the Paters.

This particular rosary is done in blues and greens and honors St. Anne the mother of Mary. The vintage brass medal depicts St. Anne with a small girl who represents Our Blessed Mother as a child. To learn more about this rosary and to view my other handcrafted rosaries and jewelry, please click here to visit my shop, Laude Arts and Gifts.

Thank you for taking the time to look.

Irish Claddagh Rosary from Laude Arts and Gifts

For those of us who are still Irish...or still wish we were...on the day after St. Patrick's day, ;) here is a beautiful rosary steeped in Irish symbolism.

The most obvious Irish symbol is the Celtic crucifix. Long an Irish symbol of eternal life, the Celtic cross comes down to us from ancient times. Another well known Irish symbol is the Claddagh at the top of the crucifix. The Claddagh ring is another ancient Irish symbol and is commonly used as a wedding band in Ireland. The crown stands for loyalty, the hands for friendship and the heart for love. I can't think of a better symbol of Christ's love for us. Hearts adorn the other arms of the cross. Topping it all off is the center honoring St. Patrick who is the patron saint of Ireland.

The Pater beads represent Celtic knots, another symbol of eternal life. The Avé beads appear black, but they are actually green goldstone beads. Handsome in ordinary light, they come to life and sparkle in sunlight or bright light.

Our contest will end on Sunday, April 17, 2011. See the guidelines below to learn how you can enter.

Open to US residents only Okay…here’s the scoop! The Etsy Rosary Guild is a group of artisans who make beautiful, handcrafted rosaries and jewelry. We are dedicated to using our art as a witness to our faith as well as using it to help support ourselves and our families. Naturally, we want to let the world in on what we are doing, so we have decided to have a monthly give away as a means of advertising our creations. We started doing this in June and so far, our give aways have been enormously successful. We are hoping that you would like to get in on the action. You can enter as many times as you wish…no purchase necessary. However, if you find that you would like to buy something, we won’t stop you! Here are the rules. We’ve tried to make it as simple as possible.
1. To enter, first visit Mary’s shop and take a look at all the beautiful items she has made. Find your favorite item and come back and tell us about it in a comment on the blog. That’s it! You’re done…if you want to be.
Please leave your email address on each comment that you make in the form of JaneDoe (at) anywhere.com. That way we will be able to contact you if you are the lucky winner. Sadly, because we can not contact you without an email address, entries that do not have an email address will be ineligible to win. If you would like to make more entries after visiting Mary’s shop, here’s how you can do it.
2. Enter one (or more) of the member’s shops listed in the side bar on the right, find something you like and come back here and tell us about it in a comment on the blog. Remember that each comment counts as an entry, so make separate comments for each shop that you visit. That way you can rack up more entries.

3. Sign up to follow our blog. You probably want to do this anyway so that you can learn about all that we are doing and keep an eye out for our next give away. If you already follow our blog (thank you), just leave your user ID in a comment.

4. Become a Facebook Fan of The Etsy Rosary Guild Team. Leave a comment back here with your Facebook name. Existing fans just leave your Facebook ID here in a separate comment.

5. Mark Mary’s store as one of your favorites on Etsy and come back here and tell us about it.

6. Blog about our give away on your blog…or anyone else’s … and come back here and put a link to the post in a comment.
Refer our Give Away Contest and our Blog to a friend. Ask them to leave a comment on the contest saying that “(your user ID) referred them. This will give them an entry and will give you yet another entry. Two for the price of one ain’t bad!

Just a reminder: Remember to leave your email address in the form of JaneDoe (at) anywhere.com. That way we can contact you if you are the lucky winner.

Also remember…Comments = Entries! Yaaaay! So leave as many comments as you like. Just click on the word “Comments” at the bottom center of the post and you’re ready to go.

Oh yes, this goes without saying, but I’ll say it anyway. Guild members are not eligible to win. While this bums most of us out completely, it means y’all get more chances to win.

Winner will be chosen on Random.org

Thanks so much for taking the time to give us a look-see and thank you for entering. Remember the contest will end at noon on Sunday, April 17, 2011.
