If you are like me, you may have never heard of Challenge Coins, but they have a rich history dating from WW1. Wikipedia says this:
"A challenge coin is a small coin or medallion (usually military), bearing an organization’s insignia or emblem and carried by the organization’s members. Traditionally, they are given to prove membership when challenged and to enhance morale. In addition, they are also collected"
The Rosary itself is made with top notch Lapis, Bronzite Paters and St Benedict centers. The Crucifix is the well known and much loved Pardon Crucifix with its many graces associated with it. It is strung on heavy, 40# test cable wire, well crimped. It is solid and substantial due to the medal (Which weighs in at 2oz). It is not a pocket Rosary--too big--but prays wonderfully.
