The large black onyx globes are the Pater beads. These are wire wrapped and a bead cap is on each end.
The black enameled crucifix is a Crown of Thorns crucifix and the centerpiece is the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
The wire that wraps the beads is a 20 gauge fine silver plate wire over copper that has a non tarnish coating on it. Wire wrapping a rosary insures that your rosary will be an heirloom.
