Irish Shepherds Rosary, Heirloom Quality, The kind of rosary the Shepherds of Ireland would have used along the western cost of Ireland where the salt sea water was in the air.

This rosary is made with a number of significant pieces. The Aves are 8 by 10 MM Reddish Golden Natural Sheep Horn. The Pater Nosters are 100 percent natural Connemara Marble direct from the mines in Ireland. The connector beads and rest of the rosary is made of solid Bronze.

Along the Atlantic seaboard, on the west coast of Ireland, there are 12 mountains that are steeped in myth and which have inspired writers and poets for centuries. At the heart of the "Twelve Bens" in Connemara, County Galway, nestle marble quarries that mine the unique green stone known as Connemara marble.

The rosary center is the triple shamrock representing the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, the traditional symbol of St. Patrick. The beautiful Celtic Crucifix adds the final touches to this wonderful sacramental. The rosary center and Crucifix are antique museum pieces that have been recast.
