The Pater Nosters are an absolutely beautiful 12 MM Natural Elephant Ivory (legal) and 4 MM Natural Garnets. The Aves are 8 MM Ebony. There are many interesting pieces that compose this gorgeous rosary- above the large Penal Crucifix is the “Shell”, the shell represents the fisherman- Christ as the fisher of men. The first Pater Noster (12 MM Ivory) is married with a skull- the skull is a reminder of our immortality much like ashes are a reminder on Ash Wednesday. Attached to the skull is a tear drop Garnet- representing a drop of precious blood. Attached to the second Pater Noster is a dual sided medal- Christ on one side and Our Lady Of Mount Carmel on the opposite side. The beautiful crucifix adds the final elegant touches to this very one of a kind custom designed Rosary. This rosary is composed of solid BRONZE. The rosary center and crucifix are antique museum pieces of past centuries that have been recast so we can continue to enjoy these beautiful pieces of art.
