Our Lady of Knock Catholic Rosary with Celtic Crucifix

This rosary has been made with a beautiful Celtic Rosary and a center that depicts Our Lady of Knock.

The AVES are 8mm green serpentine, and the Pater beads are beautiful striped coffee agate. The Paters have bead caps and then a small creamy Czech glass bead following. Each bead is completely wire wrapped and attached to the next one.

Wire wrapping each bead ensures that this will be an Heirloom for generations. The beautiful Celtic crucifix is made of Pewter and is very durable. I wrap with 20 gauge wire that is copper core and then plated with fine silver. Then it is coated in a durable surface that deters tarnish.

According to Wikipedia; Knock Shrine is a Roman Catholic pilgrimage site and National Shrine in the village of Knock, County Mayo, Ireland, where it is claimed there was an apparition of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Saint Joseph, John the Evangelist and Jesus Christ (as the Lamb of God) in 1879.

Mother Teresa of Calcutta visited the Shrine in June 1993.[8]
Ireland's National Eucharistic Congress was held at the Marian Shrine in Knock over 25 and 26 June in 2011. An estimated 13,000 pilgrims attended.
